Country Club New Bedford

FITNESS

Staying active and healthy is easy at CCNB!

All memberships include use of the Fitness Center with fitness facility complimentary lockers. Our Fitness Center is located on the top floor of the Clubhouse.  Showers are located in the Locker Rooms at lower level of the Clubhouse. Both Women and Men’s Locker Rooms have a Steam Room (Sauna), complimentary towels and spacious lounge area with coffee, water and ice.

Operating hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week to accommodate flexible schedules and those with working hours. The Fitness Center has free weights/bench, a universal cable column circuit, and medicine balls for strength training, treadmills, elliptical machines, Reebok Step and recumbent stationary bicycles for cardiovascular exercise, as well as stretching and balance tools including a BOSU and stability balls. There is plenty of variety to provide a beneficial resistance circuit training routine. The multi-stretching unit is used a great deal to help golfers stay flexible, prevent injuries or to warm up before the first tee!

The Fitness Center’s many windows overlook the first tee, eighteenth green and putting area. Enjoy tremendous views of the golf course while you are working out! Holes three, eighteen, thirteen, and seventeen are very picturesque. Watch the leaves change color in autumn, buds beginning to bloom in spring, golfers galore in summer, and beautiful snowy landscapes in winter.

A Fitness Waiver form is required to be signed and filed in the Main Office. Click here for the form.

Each new member is offered a tour of the Fitness Center. Certified Personal Trainer services are available upon request and at an additional fee for one-to-one private or small group training sessions. Click here for details about Jodi Garie and FIT TO THE CORE
