2024 CCNB WGA TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
9 AM SHOTGUN STARTS
4/30/24 - OPENING SCRAMBLE ABCD
Traditional Scramble ALL tee off, go to best drive and all hit next shot picking the best from there repeating the process until ball is holed out. Record score. Must use everyone's drive at least 3 times. Net based on 4 player's handicaps deducted at the end by Pro Shop.
5/07/24 - ONE BEST BALL GROSS AND ONE BEST NET ABCD
One best gross score and one best net score on each hole.
CAN be from the same player.
5/16/24 - TWO BEST BALL NET AB & CD THURSDAY
Two balls (One gross & One net from different players).
Two flights, gross and net prizes.
5/21/24 - STABLEFORD TEAM EVENT ABCD
Best TWO balls net using Stableford scoring: 1 pt. Bogey, 2 pts. Par, 3 pts. Birdie, 5 pts. Eagle
5/28/24 - BEST OF THE BEST DAY 1 MAJOR TOURNAMENT
Played in twosomes. PICK your partner. Pro Shop will make foursomes. AB & CD
6/04/24 - BEST OF BEST DAY 2
You and your partner try to better the previous week's score on each hole.
Pro Shop pairings from Day 1.
6/11/24 - THREE QUEENS AND A KING (GROSS AND NET)
Invite a male member to round out your foursome. Make your own foursome.
Best ball of foursome. The male member making up the foursome must not be the same each year. May be repeated after second year.
6/18/24 - ONE BEST BALL OF 4 NET ABCD
6/25/24 - NO WGA EVENT - FREE PLAY
6/27/24 - ANNUAL MEMBER GUEST-THURSDAY- Garden-Par-Tee
Committee picks theme, Miracle putt rather than Mulligans $5pp.
Two BB of 4some.
7/02/24 - BEST BALL OF FOURSOME ABCD GROSS AND NET
Red, White, and blue theme to celebrate just before the 4th of July.
7/09/24 - MIXED SIXES NET ABCD
One best ball hole 1-6, Two best balls holes 7-12 and three best balls holes 13-18
7/16/24 - MEMBER/MEMBER ROUND 1 MAJOR TOURNAMENT
Played in twosomes, PICK your partner, 80% handicap, must play ball days, same partner. Better ball of partners. Flights
7/23/24 - MEMBER/MEMBER ROUND 2 (continuation of 9-hole matches)
7/25/24 - MEMBER/MEMBER ROUND 3 (9 holes followed by lunch & prizes)
7/30/24 - ODD AND EVEN NET ABCD
One best ball net on odd holes, Two best balls net on even holes.
8/05-11/24 - MEN'S 94TH ANNUAL FOURBALL – NO WGA TOURNAMENT
8/13/24 - TWO BEST BALLS NET ABCD
Relaxed tournament of members before the big week.
8/19-23/24 - WOMEN'S 45TH ANNUAL FOURBALL - NO WGA TOURNAMENT
8/27/24 - ONE BEST BALL GROSS AND NET ABCD
One best ball gross and one best ball net on each hole, NOT from the same player.
9/03/24 - CAPTURE THE FLAG DAY 1 MAJOR TOURNAMENT
MUST PLAY 2 DAYS
Captains will pick their teams from among players who have signed up. Day 1 will consist of two 9-hole matches, 80% handicap. The FRONT nine will be Match Play and the BACK nine will be alternate shots of partners. Same group for both nines. Scoring is 1 point for a win, ½ point for a half and 0 for a loss of hole.
RED TEAM VS. BLUE TEAM for total points.
9/10/24 - CAPTURE THE FLAG DAY 2 MAJOR TOURNAMENT
Individual Match play 80% handicap. LIKE handicap players compete in singles match. Same point system.
9/17/24 - NASSAU TWOSOME – PICK YOUR PARTNER
Pro Shop will make foursomes. Best Ball of twosome. Prizes will be awarded for best net on front, best net on back, overall net and overall gross. Please pick a new partner each year.
9/24/24 - PRESIDENTS CUP DAY 1 MAJOR TOURNAMENT
Individual Metal Play 36 holes played at 100%handicap. Make foursomes for day 1, Pro Shop will make foursomes on day two based on results from day 1 based on low to high scores. MEDALIST prize given, LOW NET Day 1, LOW NET Day 2, OVERALL NET is THE PRESIDENT'S CUP winner. Tie will result in a sudden death playoff starting on hole #1. Players must HOLE out on both days. Players will qualify for only one prize in the competition.
10/1/24 - PRESIDENTS CUP DAY 2 MAJOR TOURNAMENT
Last day for Birdies, Chip-ins, Sandies and Ringers
10/8/24 - PLAY IN PINK AB & CD
Two best balls net on each hole. Winners of AB division and CD division.
WEAR PINK FOR BREAST CANCER MONTH.
10/16/24 - ANNUAL MEETING AND DINNER
4:30 Cocktails, 5-6:30 Meeting, 6:30 Dinner

PLEASE GIVE AS MUCH WARNING AS POSSIBLE WHEN CANCELING. DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS MONDAY AT NOON FOR REGULAR TUESDAY TOURNAMENTS. SELECT PREFERRED TEES AT START OF SEASON. ALL MAJORS, INCLUDING THE MEMBER GUEST WILL BE PLAYED FROM THE GREEN TEES. NOT REQUIRED, BUT ENCOURAGED, TO CHOOSE DIFFERENT PARTNERS EACH YEAR FOR OUR MEMBER-MEMBER AND BEST OF THE BEST TOURNAMENTS.
